I'm going through something similar. I had my 1st U/S at 6 weeks 2 days. They saw a yolk sac but no heartbeat. The tech said she wasn't worried but to come back in 2 weeks. I didn't even see my dr after. I wish I told them no for the early ultrasound because of the stress., No heartbeat but hcg levels are rising. Omg ladies I need some help and prayers as this would be my 4 mc in a row. I went in a few days ago for an ultrasound and baby was measuring 6 weeks and 1 day. I was pretty dang sure I should have been 7 weeks and 1 day. They couldn't find a heartbeat so the doctor say it looked like baby died a week ago., At that ultrasound (July 6th) baby was still measuring 6 weeks and had a faint heartbeat of 45, so they couldn’t call it a loss as there was still some fetal activity. They scheduled another ultrasound for two weeks later (July 20th). I miscarried naturally about 2.5 weeks after my initial 8 week ultrasound, or 4.5 weeks after growth stopped., My FET was November 6th which puts me at 6 weeks, 3 days according to my calculations although my clinic has said I was 6 weeks, 2 days. Anyways, my betas were great (308, 1249, 3229 - all 48 hours apart) and I was expecting to see a heartbeat or at least a flicker but I didn't yesterday. Ultrasound tech said I was measuring at 5 …, Before the first 6 completed weeks, the foetus has not developed enough, and we cannot therefore expect to see/hear a heartbeat. Few days play a big role in ..., At 6+1, I had a visible gestational sac and yolk sac, but no fetal pole. At 6+5, the fetal pole and heart beat were visible. I had follow up ultrasounds at 7+3 and 8+3, and the embryo measured exactly where it should be with a strong heartbeat. At 6 week, the heartbeat isn't always visible because it could just be too early.
