Faint positive at 9dpo

I felt horribly nauseous and was certain I was pregnant. Took a test at 10 dpo. Absolutely nothing. Not even a hint of a line. I continued to feel awful though. Re-tested at 16 dpo. Very pregnant! He’s sleeping in my arms as we speak. But I’ve never had a positive at 8 dpo, even with strong symptoms both times, especially not with a digital.
