Honda vtx 1300 oil change

Just changed the oil on it and need new tires. What's the max size I can put on this thing w/o any mods? It has the cast iron rims and I currently have Metz on it (don't remember the size - not looking at the bike presently, but I think they're stock size). Can I increase the size w/o any mods?

I installed a new filter and 3.8 quarts of 10w-30 Valvoline SJ rated oil. I have since read several articles and chats that state the additives in 10-w30 (energy conserving) oil can cause clutch slippage and damage.The PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilator) hose is attached to the intake to burn the fumes vented by the engine. Oil comes along with the fumes. If you have the stock air box, there should be a clear tube under the air box to catch some of the oil. Drain the tube and wipe out the throttle with a dry cloth. Yes, there are 2 drain bolts and both must be removed to fully drain the oil. The bike should be on the kickstand to drain fully. You can sit on it and rock it back and forth a bit but it should drain from the kickstand. If you did all this, it should take 4 qts. Our bikes are designed to work with coolant.
