I belive you are able to equip it inside of the scoreboard aswell as you main tent, but i cant remember this clearly TBH, but placing the tent is mousewheel up or down and then hit T and it should be able to be placed, again if you have fallout first subscribtion, if you dont you cannot place a tent.
