How to remove glacier bay kitchen faucet
Has anyone here found a suitable replacements for Glacier Bay's fastmount style locking nut on kitchen faucets? It's basically a plastic locking with a built in handle, but the threads are garbage and if you over tighten they fail right away. Get called out for loose faucet and have to re-tighten these every few weeks.
Once the area is clean, coat each of the faucet components and the threads of the faucet stem with a layer of silicone-based grease. Be sure to lubricate each piece, including any rubber O-rings you find outside the stem or cartridge. While working with each part, look for damage or signs of wear and tear.
