The Clutch Doc's advertising has been word of mouth on this and other Gator forum's, to my knowledge his work has 100% satisfaction., I have no idea if the clutch in your Gator version is the same as that in the 825i and 855D, but if it is, these clutches do present problems. A grave problem with the Gator 825i is the clutch issues. The clutch doesn't open properly at idle, which causes significant issues in shifting. Or you may come across a disturbing noise from the primary clutch. Fixes To Try Out ; Unfortunately, there is not much you can do about it., Reason for pulling - hard to shift out of reverse. The thing stopped working, but I didn't. I just unloaded a couple more loads with a shovel to finish the job. The next day when I took a look at it, I find that it came apart stripping the threads out of the housing and spilling the gears somewhere in the yard., I purchased the new clutch from Deere to get running immediately and sent the old one to the Clutch Doctor to have it fixed. Hi Thanks for answering, The bolt that holds the clutch to the crank shaft is the one that breaks. I have seen other posts of the same thing. Deere could have not had this problem if they would have just put a spring in there to lower engagement pressure. MBDiagMan., Noisy clutch. I have a 2013 825I that I bought new. It has 50 hrs on it now and has had 3 clutches counting the original. My dealer replaced the original clutch at 40 hrs. because it was getting hard to shift and jumping out of gear. I took it back to them last month after about 8 hrs use because of clutch noise especially when cold.
