The safety of the MAC 11 is located in front of the trigger. Must be pushed forward to lock the trigger preventing firing. One known issue with the MAC 11 is its rate of 1200 rounds per minute or 20 rounds per second enabling quick magazine emptying in just two seconds; however this rate can be adjusted by using different bullet weights.
