This happened to me and it was definitely because the rubber button cover was pressing up against the reset button underneath it. You can use a tiny screedriver to pop the button out., From looking at the Wyze Cam 3 Pro on-line it looks like the basic design is the same as the V3. So from experience I can say for sure the V3 design shouldn't be mounted upside-down in wet environments. When upside down water pools on the bottom of the camera around the reset and memory card door slot., Have nothing but issues with V3. Trying to get support is worse than having tooth pulled. Have 2 cams, 1 is fine, other hopeless. Tried everything to reset, no luck. I feel it is defective but good luck getting replacement, cannot even get hold of Wyze, Have nothing but issues with V3.
