Personally I would insert a DP switch between the PC and monitor to simulate a new connection and save wear and tear on the monitor switches. Likewise restarting the PC should suffice also., Put in boiling water for 15-sec or so, took out and used lid to form it, filled with cold water, and it is working fine. We were also using the "plumbers tape under the o-ring" trick as well to keep it from leaking. Love the idea of the auto-fill pitcher, but Samsung's execution was poor.
