Rimworld base design. This base design is a real problem if your pawns are outside it and suddenly need to get back inside it, such as if a bunch of bears suddenly go insane. With only one entrance, they have to run around the whole base before getting somewhere safe.

These designs are all good. I've used a 24x24 room with sandbags/turrets at the end and traps up front. However, at this point I prefer having several bunkers on the corners of my base. 1 wall, 2 sandbags & repeat. Place your shooters behind the walls and make sure the raiders have no cover.
